2025 Joint New Mexico-Arizona History Conference

Poster content may pertain to a wide array of topics within the Southwest and the Borderlands, including, but certainly not limited to, cultural studies, archaeology, ethnography, history, urban studies, geography, and other relevant topics.

Undergraduate and graduate students are particularly encouraged to submit a poster to promote your research!

Posters are limited to the standard size of 36ʺ x 48ʺ and secured on to foam board to display. Easels, foam board, and clips will be provided for presenters’ use. All poster presenters must register for the conference

(there's no fee for enrolled students, but registration is required).

We'll send a confirmation by email.  

Set up at the conference center is from 1:00 to 5:00pm Thursday, September 25. We encourage presenters to stand with their posters during breaks between sessions to discuss their topics and answer questions. 

The 2025 Joint New Mexico-Arizona History Conference, to be held in Las Cruces, NM at the Las Cruces Convention Center on September 25-27, 2025 in partnership with the Doña Ana County Historical Society and the Arizona History Convention.
