The 2026 Arizona History Convention will be held on Sept 25 and 26, 2026 at the Arizona Historical Society's Arizona History Museum located at 949 E. 2nd Street, Tucson, Arizona. Registration for the conference will be available on this website in June.
Friday late afternoon features a welcome reception and talk by keynote speaker, Mark Santiago, titled "1776: Revolutions in the East and West."
Saturday we will have four 90-minute sessions, each with three individual paper presentations, grouped by subject matter. The convention welcomes any topics related to Arizona or southwestern borderlands history, but this year we will be highlighting topics to Arizona 1776 and Beyond.
In addition, we will also have poster exhibits where researchers can share their work during breaks. Posters provide a great opportunity to share current or developing research and/or to tell attendees about your history organization. The best poster will be awarded a $100 prize.
See the 2026 Call for Papers page for details on submitting a proposal.
